Who We Are

At present, we have 67 stocking associations throughout Queensland as member groups. Since the start of the stocking program 10 years ago, these associations have stocked over 15 million fingerlings into some 70 dams weirs and river systems. The Queensland government has contributed another 7.2 million fingerlings. Our stocking groups continue to stock on an annual basis. Remember, these are largely put, grow and take fisheries. The majority of species do not spawn in impoundment's. These fisheries are entirely dependent on regular stocking.

Support the stocking program by joining your local fish stocking group.
