New
diversion pipes for Atkinsons Dam. (December 2003)
The old diversion channel and pipes that were not letting enough water
into Atkinsons Dam have been removed and the new upgraded piping is almost
complete. The diversion channel was cleaned out in late 2002 however the limited
pipes under the Gatton Rd didn't allow the extra water to flow into the dam.
Here's hoping for some rains soon after completion to get Atkinsons some much
needed water. (Currently at a mere 3% capacity)
